These pictures were taken at Tenaja spring in the Santa Ana Mountains above De Luz Canyon north of Fallbrook CA. Just a small year round pool of water in the middle of miles of dry chaparral, it attracts many animals and birds, some are regular visitors, others are just passing through. These photos were taken with a Bushnell wildlife camera which triggers automatically 24 hours a day with motion sensors and an infared flash at night. On average it triggers about 500 times each day.
